Giles Crewdson
Giles Crewdson has over 30 years’ experience in executive search.
On completion of five years Military Service, Giles joined Capel Cure Myers in 1983 to work in the fledgling investment division. He was subsequently appointed to run the highly profitable Multi-Manager business, one of the first of its kind, in the UK.
Giles spent five years with Russell Reynolds in the financial services practice before joining a boutique and was then recruited by Korn Ferry in 1999. He was made UK Managing Partner in 2002, a post he held upto the firms’ acquisition of Whitehead Mann. He set up Crewdson Partners in 2011.
To date, Giles has undertaken over 300 search mandates for clients, hiring talent all around the world.
At Korn Ferry, he helped pioneer cognitive assessment tools, applying techniques developed in partnership with a US University and led a number of FSA mandated Board Assessments (Section 166’s).
Giles sits on the Board of a fast-growing British SME delivering energy optimisation projects within UK infrastructure to address the transition economy, a passion close to his heart.
